Systematic Review of Marine Healing Program in Korea

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : The purpose of this study was suggest the effect and direction of the marine healing program by analyzing the target, method, and effect of the application of the marine healing program through systematic literature review.
Methods : As databases for literature search, KISS, RISS, and DBpia were used. As a result of the search, among 121 articles, a total of 6 articles were finally selected, excluding 114 articles that meet the exclusion criteria.
Results : As a result of analyzing the six articles selected in this study, three (50.0%) randomized experimental studies and three (50.0%) non-random group experimental studies. The marine healing program had significant changes in physical abilities such as muscle strength and joint operating range, as well as body composition and blood lipid, which can be seen as a risk factor for metabolic diseases, and was effective in improving sleep and mood and cognitive function.
Conclusion : It is expected that the marine healing program using marine resources can be used as a program to promote and prevent the physical and mental health of various patients and the general persons.
